LEED Consultant

 

LEED Consultants support Envision Realty Services’ projects in the areas of green building Operations and Design.  This includes supporting energy optimization and sustainability efforts in new and existing buildings, providing design/upgrade assistance and analysis, research and technical support, LEED documentation and LEED application review for LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB O&M), LEED for New Construction, LEED for Commercial Interiors and LEED for Core and Shell.

 

LEED Consultants will work on a wide range of projects, with a focus on assessing greening opportunities and outcomes in existing commercial buildings.  Specifically, Consultants will engage in the following tasks:

 

·         Conduct sustainable product and technology research for building operations and upgrades

·         Review building operations protocols and system performance for LEED compliance

·         Perform calculations for LEED compliance for energy and indoor environmental quality credits for new and existing buildings (day lighting, water use reduction, material selection, etc.)

·         Effectively communicate the LEED requirements and associated strategies to project owners and teams

·         Assist the project team in developing Policies and Procedures that adhere to LEED standards

·         Assist the project team in developing Management and Quality Control Plans that adhere to LEED standards

·         Assist the project team in writing Credit Interpretation Requests (CIRs)

·         Issue weekly reports, including corrective actions required, maintain logs of all inspections and ensure that all documentation, including photos, are properly stored in the project files

·         Maintain all LEED related logs and tracking documents, ensuring all credits are accurate and complete

·         Coordinate LEED related submittals from Subcontractors and communicate with other LEED Consultants as required to ensure that all the information required from Subs and Suppliers is obtained

·         Work with the Waste Management subcontractor to develop the documentation required to support claims of diverted waste

·         Monitor field work to ensure that all measures, plans and processes are being followed on site and are in accordance with the requirements of the LEED rating system

·         Work with the project team to develop materials costing information required by the LEED Consultant for LEED submittals

·         Prepare regular reports summarizing the status of the project and submit to the project team

·         Research and recommend solutions to sustainable building problems or questions, including conflicts, interferences and errors/omissions

·         Handle and organize Large amounts of documentation and/or data at times
